Experience The Spiral With Me

Over seven weeks, I once again took myself through all seven levels of The Spiral - the same profound process I offer to my clients.

Every Spiral has a focus and an intention, and for me this one was about expanding my coaching work and offering it on a wider scale beyond the business I shared with my husband.

These are my reflections so you can follow the journey from beginning to end, and gain further insight into what a Spiral experience can be. Of course, everyone's experience is unique to them, however the significance of the shifts and the potency of this modality for inner and outer transformation is profound for everyone.

What you'll find below is my real, honest and unfiltered experience of what it meant to me to clear the emotional blocks that can quietly get in the way of living more fully.

Read the highlights for each level, then dive into any reflection that speaks to you. Enjoy!

Level 1 - Deserving

This level works with the subtle patterns that quietly keep us small - second-guessing ourselves, people-pleasing, holding back, or feeling like we have to earn the right to move forward or take up space. Taking myself through Level 1 again ignited a deeper sense of freedom in how I show up, particularly as I continue to develop as a transformational mindset coach.

"There can be a movement .. to a calm inner confidence that you are already worthy, without needing to earn it first."

Level 2 - Creativity

This level opened up something important for me around visibility, expansion and leadership in my coaching. Fear, grief and paralysed will don't always announce themselves loudly - sometimes they look like procrastination, staying busy, or convincing yourself you need just a little more time before fully stepping forward.

"Now I can see any feelings of fear that come up as a signpost that something is new, and it's full of possibilities."

Level 3 - Power

This level brought a deeper awareness around honouring what I genuinely want, rather than automatically prioritising what feels expected or comfortable for others. It's not about becoming louder or more forceful - it's about becoming more grounded, more self-honouring, and more willing to take up space as your authentic self.

"When you allow yourself to fully step into your power, other people benefit too."

Level 4 - Openness

At the point at which I did this level, it was my favourite level so far. An hour after my session, I arrived at an unexpectedly basic hotel, and found I was completely fine with it. No frustration, no mental argument, just peace - a perfect reflection of the work I'd just done. This level brought a vision of deeper, more authentic relationships, and the freedom that comes when there's nothing left to prove.

"It didn't feel like striving. It didn't feel like pushing. It felt like softening into something that was already there."

Level 5 - Expression

Expression isn't about speaking louder or performing more. It's about removing the things that stop us from expressing who we truly are. This level brought a quieter, steadier kind of confidence - not loud or inflated, but an obvious knowing that I can simply take the next step, then the next.

"Less proving and convincing, and more trust."

Level 6 - Vision

This level felt like an invitation to stop forcing clarity and simply become available to it. Available to intuition, to inner guidance, to a knowing that arrives not from analysing or striving, but as a feeling, an awareness, a quiet recognition.

"I don't always need to search for answers... sometimes I simply need to become available to them."

Level 7 - Purpose

The final level brought a theme of permission woven through everything - permission to stop striving, to stop looking outside for answers, and to trust what was already there. The insight that surprised me most: I hadn't been chasing enlightenment. I'd been avoiding it.

"The work I'm here to do is waiting for me, and I can continue to lean in with courage and curiosity."
